Brand Identity, 2026

the concept
The starting point was the name. Bloc. Short, geometric, full of implicit meaning, blocking threats, controlling access, keeping things structured.

The B became the entire concept. Flipped, rotated, looked at differently, the B is a face. Two eyes peering out from behind the letterform. Always watching. Always aware.

But a static face wasn't enough. The product has three distinct states, something looks off, something's been found, problem solved. So the face needed to reflect that. Three emotional states, three colours, one system
evolving the visual style
The eyes aren't just expressive,they're directional. They always look toward the headline, pulling the reader's attention exactly where it needs to go. The logo and the copy work together as one system rather than two separate elements sitting near each other.

Running underneath everything, subtle detection lines. A quiet visual metaphor for the scanning happening in the background. Present in the system but never loud.

No corporate speak. No "enterprise-grade access management solutions." Bloc talks like the founder sells, direct, a little cheeky, says the uncomfortable thing out loud.

Every line names a specific person, a specific situation. Nothing abstract, nothing vague. Because the product isn't abstract, it finds real problems inside real tools used by real teams.

Bloc now has a brand that scales without breaking. The three-state system, warning, detected, resolved, gives the team a built-in logic for every campaign, every asset, every hire they brief from this point forward.

The face is a recognition device. Once you've seen it you don't forget it. And in B2B where everyone looks the same, being the brand people actually remember is the whole game.
